^ yea
same here only thing that was said is we get the new client when the game is released and if we want we can upgrade to the ARR CE
I really dont think its a big deal we already are getting lots of stuff from being 1.0 players what else do ppl want?
Want yoshi to come to your house and hand deliver it? lmao
Joking aside tho we really do get alot of stuff. Really dont understand people with the "Gimmie gimmie gimmie!" mentality

Was very happy to see the following question answered in the Live Letter VI. It was relevant so i wanted to post here with the update.
Q21: Would you be able to provide us with more information on the ARR Collector's Edition?
A21: The Collector's Edition may come with some in-game items... Don't worry, we do have plans to do something for the 1.0 players that have purchased the original Collector's Edition!

There was nothing major for CE i wanted, BUT if the ARR CE is good enough (has a figurine or something of that sort ) I will buy it just to get said item. xD
I could also wait to get it on E-bay also I guess..
Since my husband is going to start playing when ARR launches, we'll just get him the CE edition so this doesn't really affect me.
I've seen the mug that the EU's got after it came out of a dishwasher... yeah I'm not too offended that I didn't get that lol..
sidenote: surprised that something this silly actually launched a heated debate... the natives must be getting restless!

I would be surprised if the new CE didn't come with a irresistible social pet.

You also got early access to the game. CE release was 10 days before the Official start. That is why many purchased it. Also, I'm not understanding your point, they basically said you will be getting something else in ARR for purchasing a CE of 1.0...which in all honesty they didn't need to do.How many of you got the 1.0 CE and even at the time felt a little slighted, especially in North America. At least the guys over in Europe got a kewl and useful travel mug. The only thing I get any use out of from my CE is the Security Token.
Will the onion helmet be relevant and useful (or even transfer over) into 2.0? What was the point of the Certificate you had to send off for? Will anything from that have any bearing ingame?
PS: they already said ALL special code items tied to our accounts carry over into ARR (such as Onion Helms)

lol, the early access was not really useful. Not sure if you got the early access or not but I couldnt play it for almost two weeks after the official release due to how buggy and broken everything was. Some people may have gotten in but even if they did they were fighting the toughest enemy in 1.0, the lag monster. You also got early access to the game. If you read my last post I hope that will answer your question "what's your point". Just to add on to it, the only thing that anyone really got any use out of from their CE's was the authenticator. I really didnt expect much, just wanted them to acknowledge that the majority of what people payed for in the 1.0 CE was a huge let down and hoped that they would at least allow us to upgrade from the 1.0 CE to the ARR CE. I would be fine with paying a little extra.
