Honestly, I'd rather they keep it to digital items unless the physical items quality is better.

Damn it! EB games was all sold out of CE I would do anything for those Garlond goggles..

The only physical item I'd like is the Primal Wallpaper Or the T-shirt but I'm sure it would be too small for me since I'm pretty big

I actually bought the CE for 80 dollars.... Then returned it without opening it ( I was poor and couldn't even play the game on my PC at the time, living by myself )

Then I saw it for 30 dollars a couple of months later.

Should have snagged it then...

This was the first CE I bought for any game and maybe its just not what I was expecting but I wonder if there will be anything come 2.0 to remind us why we got it way back then.

I guess one could argue that i got the opportunity to have the onion hat, a nice booklet of original art, a map, a certificate to really tell my RL friends how nerdy I am, and a secure account. As well as the memory of how terribly frustrating everything was, especially at the start. everything from the complicated, non-user-friendly payment option to the laggy and constantly crashing game.

Complaints aside, I am absolutely blown away with the leaps and bounds the game has made since then under the direction of Yoshi-P. He has breathed life into this world and the promise of things to come have me once again excited. I will be playing this in 2.0 but it would be really nice to have even a title that is only for the CE buyers back in 1.0 launch. something to say that we went through hell and are still here, something to differentiate us from someone who bought the game for $20 and still qualified for the Legacy campaign.

I dont want/expect much, just a little something to show that I have been here from the beginning.

Look, buying CE is great and all, even I did it too. but its been two years. And hell, REMAKING THE GAME is a hell of a gift already, most game companies wouldn't go this far. I know Hellgate London sure didn't!

I don't mind buying the game again at full price if the collector/limited edition of ARR was like Skyrim's with an artbook and Bahamut's figure. It would be even better with a sample OST and a starting guide.

I realized this sounds like i feel entitled to something, that is not the case and i think i stated this as the post progresses. I'm just wondering if they will be doing anything if you had the 1.0 CE such as a digital account upgrade to the ARR CE. I'm most likely going to be buying a new CE for my wife anyway, just hoping to get some details soon.

I ain't giving SE another penny until I've read at least three reviews giving the game 9/10 or better.

And yes, the NA CE sucked.

yoshi already said those who bought CE are getting the in game stuff from the new CE, plus priority on PS3 beta.

First time I hear that. All I remember reading is Yoshi saying we'll have an option to "upgrade" to ARR CE.
