I thought it was kind of easy to spot as a fake.

I actually kind of enjoyed the rest of it after I spotted the first obvious contradictory statement.

If you can imagine what it's like to be a developer reading these forums, I'm pretty sure you'd see the majority of the posts start to look like the OP. The community doesn't have one solidified voice, and not surprising. Final Fantasy doesn't have one solidified theme. No two are exactly alike and it's entertaining to see how all these different people define what a Final Fantasy title is, ranging from: "Final Fantasy VIII didn't have jobs" to "Dragoon doesn't have a wyvern? What kind of FF is this?" to "Final Fantasy I didn't have chocobos or Cid". Not only that, but to listen to their "demands" afterward.

The OP's post is a commentary on the entire Final Fantasy XIV community (at least the forum community). It's chock full of contradictory whining, self service, and very little substance, help, or constructive criticism.

I want to be noticed and remembered for playing and beating this game before 2.0 hits. Make something happen like a giant meteor, and give me a special mount that is huge and noticable. Don't give me a silly tattoo that will make my char look weird and stand out, and that goobbue is way too big, I cant even see my screen. I'm just gonna use the chocobo, its the best mount anyways.

But really I want to ride a magitek t-rex mount. Where is it?

Yikes. First off, I'd like to commend you on making a post that is brimmed full of your heart and feelings. However, the next time you want to do that. Don't. This is the internet, and it does not treat gentle hearts so well.

Some of your ideas have already been discussed before and will be implemented in 2.0, I will not discuss the (In 2.0) debate with you.

Your demands, as that is what they are, are somewhat erratic and jagged around the edges. You want things but you don't give possible solutions. You say things like you have the right to say them. "Don't mess up summoner." What kind of statement is that? Do you expect them to bring you onto the development team so they can get your input at every turn? So that you will be happy with summoner? What if no one else likes it? Just as long as you like it, right? Weak.

You don't want to kill 'x' but you are ok with killing 'c', what is 'c'? You make convoluted statements that only make people think of you as a troll. If you are ok with this then you have earned your place at the bottom of the pecking order. However, if this was not your intent then I suggest you proof-read your posts and perhaps let an unbiased person do that too.

In conclusion; the game was not made with 'you' in mind. It is made for 'everyone' and as the saying goes, "Yoshi-P can't please everyone."

No, it's a representation of how few people actually read forum posts anymore because of people (like the OP) who make troll/satire threads instead of threads looking for real discussion.
