But SE has stated many times they are going to keep the animations to completion if the animation is going on you are there for the ride period. They want it realistic and the reality of that is if you start a 6 hit combo you have to stand still for the 6 hits, you don't get to run away mid attack. They are looking to remove some of the smaller in-between motions that we probably will not miss anyway. Just as I think if keeping the servers up past the deadline causes even 1 person to be delayed working on ARR than its not worth it to me. I think if these minor animations need any attention then scrapping them is the better choice. I want engaging combat and battle choices that test the decisions I make in battle versus the speed I can react to hitting a button as cooldowns are up.
