No one is saying this game is looking worse because there's not an extra step in your running animation.

Exactly. We say the game is looking worse because they completely removed the current animation, replacing it with generic Korean MMO animation, with camera pans, stiff running, backpedaling etc, that looks completely fake and awkward compared to what we currently have.

I wouldn't even make a thread if they had just removed an extra step in the stopping animation
