chhzzkh.... you can't grrha... This is stupid. Forget it. Complain moar.

Rokien is saying the Devs are lazy. That adding more animations would be better (more animations for jump?!) And then that 2.0 should be made for PS3 and PC and not together, that there should be two ARRs.
That's not complaining that's being whiny and unrealistic.

For what it's worth, signed. Removing the detailed animations, instead of simply prioritising actions over making sure animations always play to completion, is in my opinion a mistake.
I've said my piece in the other topic (though Caedeia said it better) and have no intention of getting involved in the usual vitriol and calling everyone disagrees a troll, but I hope desperately the people in charge realise they're degrading something that makes the game special.
Knock on me all you like, it's my opinion and my vote. All that's left is to hope, and come v2.0 launch day, if they haven't reconsidered, hope I can stomach the loss.

I'm sharing your thoughts. Let's hope this concern gets to Yoshida and the devs so at least they're aware and hopefully will have a discussion on this matter. For what it's worth, signed. The animation makes this game special, without it they are removing something that is vital to the reason I currently and will continue to pay to play this game for.
If they start cutting corners without promising us something in the long run, I'm not sure how much I'm looking forward to 2.0

Nah, let's just bring Tanaka back so we can kill squirrels til cap with all our "friends" of the 15k subs! That's what XIV needs! It'll be successful guys seriously! We don't need good hardware or a modernized gameplay engine! Archaic and clunky is fun!
You want fluid animations you play something that isn't an MMO. I can't think of anything that runs like current XIV with a good response time for PvP or even PvE. The second you get KO'd while "realistically turning around to face thy opponent!" you'll be wishing there was a faster reaction time.
yup you are right animation should be different in every game , introducing FF 17 Online were people will walk on their hands !
It's comments like this that drive me up a wall. Where did Rukirri say this? What did she say? Do we need another quote? You are making up a bunch of false scenarios based on your preconceived ideas and prejudiced attitude based on the mistakes made in 1.0.If it has nothing to do with deadlines, then you're telling me that Square concientiously made the decision to skimp out on animation to make it more like 'The MMO standard'.
You have a very active imagination. I suggest you use it to imagine the extra step they're taking out of your precious animations.
