I wouldn't worry too much.
They recently said that the weapon animations weren't added yet, so I'm guessing that applies to our transition animations too. In any case, I think we need to find out if it's really being removed or not before we jump the gun.

It's really being removed, because Square is stupid and this community is so starved that they'll accept anything from Square as long as they say they're 'doing it for the gameplay'.

Ayup. I wouldn't mention it though, you'll just get hundreds of threads mocking your slight grievance with the game, without understanding it. (grass)
