Do we need a limit on new thread creation?

Perhaps SE should limit new threads to 2-3 per week per user?

I figure I'd post this before Mizukage or Rokien did.

Or maybe, all the people posting in the threads going "omg troll ur dumb stop posting i don't like your opinions" should stop posting in their threads. If they really think they are trolling and trying to get attention the one thing that isn't going to help is the same 10 people posting in every thread stating that the person who made the thread is a troll. Instead, just don't post at all. If the thread is stupid no one is going to care and it will fade into obscurity.

I reported all the mizu threads this morning and haven't seen a new one pop up in a bit...maybe it's working.

You can't make more than one post within 30 seconds, but I don't know if there's a separate limit on creating a new thread.

If they're using default IPBB settings, 30 seconds per post.

There's no cooldown for thread creation. I saw that two of Mizu's threads were created within the same minute.
