Why not make October and November free for everyone?

no that's a good translate ( i'm french so i understand what it means ) but it doesn't says if the free days are for the launch of ARR or :
if i pay the 25th then i'll have from the 25 of october to the shutdown as free days but it would be different for someone paying the 10th

Yeah it doesn't really say anything clear about it carrying over to ARR, sounds to me like if you didn't get it you didn't get it, and might as well pay your next month.

That would be really nice, don't understand why they had to add that limitation, I know they probably don't want people who haven't subbed in a while to suddenly come back on the very last month and play for free, or they're doing it to combat RTM or whatever. Maybe they could have limited to Legacy members if they wanted to be really picky about it, but even then it would be more unfair to people who didn't get it.

How exactly would you stop billing to not screw someone over? Whether they cut renewal on the 1st, the 30th, or anywhere in between someone is getting "boned." Honestly, 6 days free may not be as good as 30 days free, but it's still better than being charged right up til the 11th when servers go down.

Good thing asking for clarification isn't crying and complaining, it's just asking for a rep to clarify if that paid time is going to carry over to ARR or not, since it's a bit unfair that some people are going to have to pay for almost a whole month that's promoted as free, and you can't really just shrug that off with "it's just luck" or "it's just the price of a couple of burgers and fries, what a complainer".

And now I want some burgers and fries.
