Patient!? But I want to see things nao!!
Slightly more serious note, I didn't realize that walking and sneak are...similar. Not quite synonymous considering movement speed, but close enough at any rate. I did know about the stealth ability, but as you pointed out there's that nasty cap at which it's rendered useless. Something like stealth sans the level restriction would be nice. Self target, and class/job specific that way everyone isn't stuck using it to the extent it was in passed games perhaps.
Well walking has no level cap. Also, you can speed up your walking with fists of wind, swiftsong, or hermes' shoes (or all of the above) without losing the sneak affect. Walking mounts however, will not help.Patient!? But I want to see things nao!!

I didnt really miss them until I did "living on a prayer" (quest following killing Nael Van Darnus). But then again - all those monsters where true seeing or true hearing.. Wouldnt have helped too much lol.
I think as it is the system works nicely - you can passively work with this one. No need to set up a bunch of "temporary" skills to get somewhere, and then turn back on your "real" skills - or waste inventory space..
Many months ago Yoshi said that it was not his intention to introduce Sneak/Invisible spells in the game. But all ex-FFXI gamers know how "fun" could be just explore the land with those spells casted upon us. I think that should always be in the game places with extremely though enemies (not speaking of Goblin Liv. 99 like in this version :P). It would make the game and exploration more thrilling!
back in the days we couldn't even go to mor dhona because every route you take had 70+ =] we still made it there :P

I really miss those.
I don't know why SE trolls us with those lvl 9000 mobs.

always looking for good people.
I actually hope they reintroduce Sneak and Invis when they bring out thief and ninja, but I hope they just give it to those two classes. Not only does it make sense, but it would finally put them in a roll that is often overlooked in the FF series, recon and stealth. Have a chest you want but its surrounded by mobs? Send in your thief class. Spy a stray mob that slipped through your hamlet defense line, have your ninja slip past the enemies front line to get him. IDK, I would love to see these two jobs get their due. A Warrior in full plate mail should not be able to tip toe the hell around a ton of mobs just by getting a shot of magic invisible dust, but then again, it is a fantasy game. Just my 2 cents here.....
My favourite skill in XI, right after all the dozens of blm spells.
XIV needs so much more spells it's not even funny.
Tractor you can ditch.
