There's a step by step guide on the page, I don't see how you could have an end date on Oct 8 because that would mean you renewed last on September 7th/8th, which means your account would not be cancelled unless you requested it to be.

Or am I misunderstanding?

Well it said Next Estimated Date of Billing Oct. 2, 2012 for me. Don't say end date anywhere.

Click on "List Options that renew automatically", just like the guide says.
