Suggestion - Please implement this in A Realm Reborn.

Hello all. There was a specific chat feature in FFXI that I loved, and I would like to see it implemented here in the same way. There was a way to bring your chat log up and make it take up most of your screen like this:

This isn't the perfect screenshot for what I wanted showing all say, party chat, linkshell chat, and even all shouts. I want to be able to bring my entire window up and toggle to one of the categories to see if I missed any messages. I personally play on Windowed mode for now and it's a pain to have multiple logs up without cluttering the screen. Anyone else miss this feature?

Not sure what you mean, in ARR you will be able to customize the UI... .

Oh yeah definitely. I play FFXIV with controller as well which may be the reason I miss this feature so much.

just temporarily enlarge the chat window. Yes, it would be nice to have a key that does it instantly, but you can still do it.

That along with the multiple chat tabs in one window were probably the main reason I like XI's log system. XIV can have 2 tabs per window, yet you can't honestly switch to them on the fly like you could in XI, especially if you use a gamepad.

the delay is more related to the lag i think .

Loved coming back from afk being able to open up the list and see my missed /tells immediately rather then scrolling through a long list.
