How to report a hacker and see results?

So as we all know by this point anyone who made the assumption that nothing would happen if they started bot crafting and pos warping was 100% correct.

Call a GM in game asking for them to look into it, they send you to the task force site.
Send stuff to task force site, nothing occurs.

Any chance this will change?

Botting and hacking is not the same.

I hope we can report with ARR ingame on the fly. If we need to go to a website first for the report, many people just let it be.

Many people remember the massive number of bans handed out by SE in FFXI.

I'm confident that when they've stopped scrambling to release ARR they're going to devote more attention to things like this.

Special Task Force has nothing to do with development of ARR.

A reason why nothing happens sometimes is because people report for the wrong things. For example, reporting a botter for "hacking". They'll investigate for hacking and then see nothing of the sort is taking place and close the report.

Also, the action does not necessarily mean insta-perma-ban. They may have been caught botting and given a warning or a temp ban and then you'll see them running around later.
