How to delete "Saved character creation data"?

Hey folks! So I'm a new player and, it pains me to say I've not players FF14 as much as I wanted to this month so my free trial period is about to run out.

Being the character-creation fiend that I am, I made a lot of characters that I've wound up not using and deleted, but the character creation data is still there.

My question is, is there an easy way to delete the saved creation data, to avoid me paying for slots I'm not actually using? Many thanks!

EDIT: I should add I've figured out the billing issue, so now I'm no longer paying for slots I don't use. But this prompts another question. Is there a limit to the number of 'Character creation data' one can have?

As you found out, a character is an ID that you have to close, to "disable" it from your account.

When it comes to the max amount of IDs, I am not sure, but we are getting ever so closer to A Realm Reborn, and with it comes a new pricing structure, no longer do you have to buy IDs to enable more characters, instead there are two subscription options, you can read about it here.
