Questions about this server

Hi guys! I just joined this game some days ago, and i chose this server because i thought i would find the most spanish players around here. However, i noticed that this server has the lowest population, and i find it kinda empty sometimes :S. I chose Limsa-lominsa as my main city, but i don't see so much players around the area. Are other servers more or less the same? Do you know if there is gonna be a server merge after 2.0? if so, i wouldn't mind to wait until then... but if not I'm thinking on deleting my character and play on any other server with high population. What would you recommend me to do? Thanks for your help

I've played on two other servers before (Durandal/Rabanastre and Balmung) and there were never a lot of people in Limsa or Gridania. Most sheep players generally flock to Ul'dah because it's convenient. During GMTish times (around 16:00-23:00 GMT I guess) the overall number of active players on Ragnarok seems to be similar to other servers, but if you play very early or very late, you'll probably see less people on Ragnarok than elsewhere. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing.

Either way, I don't think they'll merge servers again anytime soon, since there should be a lot of new players with the release of ARR. They might restructure them in a different way though - their plans aren't entirely clear yet.
