    Idea for future events and gear/materia

    Right now SE is considering letting ra/ex gear change to materia but letting it only change into normal materia. I'm fine with that, but I would like to address something different.

    Maybe in the future during events, when certain gear is rewarded, it COULD turn into special limited materia. This way we could attach a useful effect to a high level item. We would not have to store the event item, AND could benefit from its effect.
