Dude, the only reason you want to play a red mage is because you're a final fantasy fanatic. You sound worse than those people whining for Blue Mage shortly after FFXI came out.

I'm not saying the armoury system is any better, since we can all be SO UNIQUE with all those abilities we can't use off-class since they're brutally gimped. Oh yah. My marauder totally stands out because he can cast "cure" - no wait... everyone can already do that. Okay, he can use "second wind" - no wait... everyone can already do that too. Well, somehow someone was speaking like they knew wtf they were talking about.
