do to red mage do a mic of all three glad for the class your on and mix a bit of con with thrm. this isn't like ffxi where you can only chose one "sub job" All you need from glad is the sword and sword weapon skills. From con and thrm some of the spells

rdm was my fav class just no one liked when I meleed. (though there really wasn't a big diff.... i did my spells and timed them well)

Pretty much rdm was a war+ whm + blm. so mixing cures with nukes and sword skills is pretty much a red game.

I am playing a "red mage" in oblivion. I am a blade using dark elf, with destruction and alteration. I also have skills in alchemy block and light armore. (alchemy is my character crafts I gotta level it up and make mana potions)

My feeling has been that the class system it set up so that 'classes' are really only used to designate leveling allotments. When it comes down to it, none of us are gladiators, conjurers, or red mages - we're adventures. We all have our unique little skillsets (until people start mashing out the most efficient combinations and cookie cutter builds start appearing as a result), and aren't really intended to be pigeonholed into a single classification.

The funny part of this is that it seems to drive some players insane, so we have all these posts trying to introduce ways that we can two steps backward and pigeonhole our characters back into some sort of defined role.
