I think 36 is still too long![]()
when i need to work i think its rather abit short then to long :P
but when i got days off yes its to long.
non stop leves for sp (just add varity) with gil and item rewards once every 24 hrs. that way it gives ppl a reason to kill mobs, isn't just a mindless grind. and pretty much makes then field of valor pages.
No harm no foul.
I really don't like the idea of leveling off levequests. It gets stupid and redundant. It's no different from games like PSU which you just keep doing runs.
To be honest, I'd rather they were set back to the original 48hr reset. 36hrs already feels too short, 24hr resets would just be too much.
Have you guys played ffxi and done fields of valor pages? stuff like thing makes leveling have a point to it. And even SE made them non stop for exp just gotta wait a day for gil/tab rewards.
Levequests are just an expanded idea of this. And instead of one you get 8.
Whats the issue? forming and randonly killing mobs in party camps got dull in ffxi. Its like "whats the point" What is the purpose of just going to these places just to kill monsters over and over again.
With fov pages it gave a bit of purpose. Prerty much you have a reason to go out and kill these monsters.
Whats the harm on that?
If they did that, they would have to adjust the SP values as well.
The point is, that they control our maximum SP gains with the system so that we don't level too fast. If the current system is "balanced", if they go and change the values they will have to change the SP gains as well, accordingly.
What happens is that if you could gain roughly 40k SP in 36 hours with the old system, they will make it so you'll gain 30k SP in 24 hours, not more, not less.
Essentially you will be doing more work for the same amount of SP. Sounds..like a good idea.
Its 36 Hours because then it alternates whose Prime Time it resets on Japan then US.
I have to thank Square-Enix for the amazing job they have done recreating Final Fantasy XIV from Scratch. Especially the inclusion of Missing Genders which we petitioned for in good faith. This was proof to us players that the Developers are truly Sympathetic to our requests and that being honest and vocal can pay off with the amazing characters we have who are Female Roegadyn, Male Miqote, and Female Highlanders. Thank You SE, Thank You Community Team, Thank You Yoshi-P.
Yup, pretty much this.If they did that, they would have to adjust the SP values as well.

Additionally, they would have to reduce gil rewards.
So what do you want? 36 hour window with current SP and gil gain, or 24 hour window with reduced SP and gil gain?
I can already tell you the demographic: Casuals are fine with 36 hours (hell, some prefer 48), and hardcores will want 24 hour or even "continuous" leves.
Again, SE has struck a fairly good middle ground here, so how about we stay there?
If you ask me make em 15 every 7 days and increase the rewards, but thats just the hardcore "Anything to promote the opposite of soloing" in me speaking.
Once every 24 would be ok if they actually put in some sorta incentive to level in groups, lowered the SP/rewards from leves slightly before-hand.
