Hello,

Posting in hopes someone can help me out, perhaps.

I came back to XIV about 2 weeks ago or so and, ever since, the game has been crashing 3-4 times a night. There's no pattern to it. Sometimes it happens when porting. Sometimes it happens in high-traffic areas (Ul'dah, Gridania, etc). Sometimes it happens where there's hardly any player traffic, like out in the wilds.

One thing that's consistent, though, is that it happens most often when it's loading in other characters, either players or NPCs. There's a constant hitching/hiccuping that occurs and every now and again, and every so often, it'll just stop and the game will crash.

On other occasions, it'll just crash for absolutely no reason. It crashed once when I was just standing still.

I've had the game installed on this same system prior to 1.39, and it ran perfectly smooth. Hardly any hiccuping/hitching, and it would crash maybe once a week, if that.

Since I'm back, after 1.39, it's happening frequently.

As far as hardware, I'm running the following:
Home-Built system
Windows 7 64-Bit
NVidia GTX560 Ti running 301.42 - WHQL drivers (the latest)
8 Gigs of RAM
Running the game off a 60Gig SSD (same drive it was on before with no problems)

Again, I ran the game prior to 1.39 without issue, so this is something only since I'm back in game.

Are there any settings or known issues with certain settings, perhaps? Something to do with my video card settings, maybe?

Appreciate any help...

Thanks
