    You're probably going to have to be a lot more specific for me to help you any farther.

    How did you determine that your wireless router is the issue? You may have to forward some ports on the router for the update to go through. This is the guide you would want to use for that, BUT ignore the ports they show at the end of the guide, the ones you would need to open are as follows:

    UDP - 55296 - 55551
    TCP - 54992 - 55551
    UDP - 443

    The alternative is torrenting. In any case, a proper google search will yield all sorts of info about how to get FFXIV's updater working.

    Post your system specifications for us. There is a sticky in this forum with all of the information you should give us. And/or you can open your FFXIV config utility, hit the system button, then copy to clipboard.
