    I would pretty thoroughly hate this. For all the time I spent in XI, that chapter of my life is over. I don't want to revisit it in HD.

    While hate might be a little too strong for me, I do agree that FFXI should stand as a separate game that gave a number of us separate experiences. FFXIV is a new game, with new experiences to offer. I have a feeling that SE probably feel the same way too, else the probably would have approached an idea like this from the start.
