I can't adjust the size of my primary chat log, I gradually lost the control.

Details:It was working fine until I logged off and then logged back in, in windowed mode to make redoing my macros easier. I saw that I was no longer able to adjust the width of my primary chat log. So I relogged to attempt to fix the problem and I had lost the ability to adjust the chat log altogether.
Steps:
1.Logged into windowed mode, Lost the ability to adjust the width of the primary chat log.
2.Relogged into fullscreen, Lost the ability to adjust the primary chat log's size completely.
