We fought normal level 50 imperials for over 30 minutes, but didn't see any sign of the Magitek Vanguard.
Now it's up to us adventurers to discover the spawn pattern. /psych

Another fun event, a good addition before A Realm Reborn.
And that hat would also be a good alternative for those not being able to get the Darklight Eyepatch...!

It just drops.... There's no NPC or chest. It's a mob drop. You get a higher chance with the Elites. The chance of it falling from regular imperials is probably the same as Darklight.

Could it work somewhat like Campaign where people are rated on participation instead of just claiming mobs?
