I was but out of the 6-7 pub parties I didn't get any of the tricornes, or we went 0/80 and disbanded. Again you keep bring this up buts its really irrelevant, the event should not have ended as early as it did period.

They had to end it early. How else could they put in that other awesome event with cool item that everyone has been hurrying to do just before the final save. They couldn't leave us wishing for the world to end out of pure boredom now could they. Nope nope nope!
Wait what?..
It's a legitimate question, because when something that respawns damn near instantly is up for 24/7 for weeks...you had a lot of chances to get it.
Thus why it's a legitimate question. Also that's pretty bad even for something like this, you sure it was killed properly? I seen people doing the leashing method and killing it unclaimed.
No one said it wasn't a legitimate question but why do you continue to ignore the main damn point? I have a job and shit to do so I did it as often as I could getting 1/2 hats. Only a couple of those groups for leeching parties with a couple getting killed while yellow. The others where having a pld straight tank the gundam while you sleep and kill the other mobs. This is a SE drop rate you can go 0/100 EASY or go 10/30, I just happen to get the shitty drop rates. It's a legitimate question, because when something that respawns damn near instantly is up for 24/7 for weeks...you had a lot of chances to get it.

Give me one good reason to end the event a week and half before the final save when SE previous stated it would go on till the last save. You seem bend on just posting "well you should of done it while it was up for 2 weeks", which is rather pointless.
Not everyone can sit and play for 14 days straight. People do have lives etc and don't want to sit at the same NM for 2 weeks, especially when you are PUGing it and when they do drop they just drop to people that get it in there pool and leave either right away or after another kill, so the PUG PTs usually disband pretty quickly. It's a legitimate question, because when something that respawns damn near instantly is up for 24/7 for weeks...you had a lot of chances to get it.

My Mrs killed it alot while it was up, she must have seen about 30+ tricones drop alone, did she get 1 in her pool? No. The thing is, when you PUG'd it you still had the % from the drop itself vs the 1/8 chance you actually have to drop to you, because I could put money there is noone in the PUG actually helping and because the WHM hat is garbage, its 1/8 chances to be dropped into your pool.
So not really sure why you are jumping on Judge about it being up for 2 weeks, people did it just means they did not get it to drop.
Just ignore them Judge, Elex is just a troll this forum has to deal with, they have a reply for everything like wiki and are never wrong. Pointless person to explain yourself to.
If she saw 30+ tricorn hats, maybe she should have considered static'ing the mobs. Maybe organize it with her shell or friends. Doesn't seem to be an event problem. Not everyone can sit and play for 14 days straight. It wasn't a scheduled event. It's basically a hard to get limited edition item. Just like nael's earrings.
Not everyone is gonna get it. Hence the word rare.
Not every event has to be like seasonal events.
That would have been a good idea, but considering we are new back ~2 months or so and our previous server was Besaid, alot of our EU friends went to Ragnarok and we got stuck here(yey SE). The shell/friends we currently play with are alittle outside our timezone, we usually go to sleep shortly after they get up. Not everyone can play whenever they like, like you who slept bad for 2 weeks. We do have real lifes outside the game.If she saw 30+ tricorn hats, maybe she should have considered static'ing the mobs. The thing is, the event was not hard at all when done right, just most of the time people was to stupid to understand the concept of return killing when doing leashing. Also White Ravens are not so rare, the fight could be done anytime, the only thing was that only certain people could do it.
