Thread: 1.23 Imperial Event

A party of three from my LS (me and two friends)went out yesterday night and participated in the live event. There was a whole group from our server already out there, saw lots of familiar names. I actually really enjoyed it and thought it was pretty fun.

Everyone seemed to be working together, didn't seem overly competitive at all, just a bunch of people out enjoying their time, raising other people outside of their parties when needed.. cheering others on when they got their hats..etc.. I'm thankful to be from Masamune.. I like our community.... Anyhow... thought I'd add the tiny bit that I noticed from participating last night.

It was the general consensus from what everyone was saying that last kill shot on the magitek was the trigger for the hat to drop. This particular round, we never had red claim on the H-1. My party member (blm) died about 30+ seconds before the magitek went down. The hat dropped into my dead blm party member's inventory. I checked my log, and at no point did it tell me that I "defeated" the magitek, and our other party member wasn't in the area and didn't get the last shot in either.

I suppose I could of missed something, but I'm suspicious that it may be something other than "last kill shot".

The only other thing I could think of was that I was bard and had put blood letter on the magitek a bit before it died, and maybe that ended up killing it but didn't generate the message to me that I had "defeated" it? Maybe DoT death doesn't generate that message? I don't know.... but that is the small pieces to the puzzle I have to offer.
