Thread: 1.23 Imperial Event

You can do this event easily with a party of 8 without using leashing method.

last hitting does not work, wasted several hours fighting against a jp party for claim. Drops only happened when we had claim. We were both straight tanking it but death happen a lot at start to see who kept claim.

+1 for the worst mmo event and claim/drop system.

Wow, really? All anyone on the forums has been talking about for the past 2 months is that they need to have some sort of huge imperial invasion where they come in and wreck everyone's shit. Well guess what, here it is, and there are still a ton of people bitching about it. These things don't have to drop anything at all, they SHOULD just be for an achievement. Who cares if the loot distribution is crap because guess what? This is probably here to stay until the servers come down, its not like there are any other hidden imperial items in the .dats waiting for us so theres plenty of time to get what you want.

Stop whining because you don't have content done 10 minutes after it's been released for christ sake because you sure as hell aren't going to have anything better to do.

My thoughts exactly (though I don't oppose the hats). People ASKED for this, and now that they get it, they're whining. And its only the second day of the event! People need to calm the heck down and try to enjoy it. I thought it was fun.

I love how the event seems to spawn at the most convenient times...

This whole event doesn't seem right. i honestly don't believe that Yoshida would allow an event that promotes players fighting against each other for claim/kill shot of a mob that's part of the whole Seventh Umbral Era live events. i have a feeling we'll be hearing something about it from SE later today.

I dunno, here in Sargatanas, everyone was cooperating. The ending H-1 always became a game of tag to see who could get hate on it, but there was never any fighting going on.

Also, I saw approximately 5 or 6 hats drop to my party alone.
