Arcanist and summoner :D

I'm wondering if the "summon 4 types of pets" limitations are due to the job skill restrictions like we have now..which means.. just 5 skills per jobclas? :/

is that the point why we just get 4? but well better quallity than quantity... on the other side i dont want the FFXIV ifrit/Garuda to be my summon ;XD i'd rather prefer Shiva, Fenrir, Titan, Ramuh... or well Siren and typhoon would be some freshly new as well..

ahh i cant decide... im looking forward to which the 3 other summons than ifrit will be.

Would it be safe to assume that Arcanist is a CLASS and summoner the JOB to arcanist?

should had been name Evoker over arcanist then Summoner as the job.

well the 15 min ability can be the astral flow to do Hellfire, Diamond dust, etc. while the limit break can be Bhamaut a powerful non elemental dmg Mega Flare.

yeah that would be nice but i doubt SE would give us bahamut in XIV as he is to fame for us to handle.

I hope they don't settle on a simple color variation for Carbuncle tank and mage. Different color and shape would be much better.
I was kind of sad when he said "But we'll probably go with color variation."
I was like "WTF?! You have no imagination or what?" Re-using a model and simply changing the color feels so.... 8bit.

I hope summoner gets more summons eventually too. 4 is kinda limited.
Well, at least vanity summons would be awesome! xD
I have to admit, in battle people tend to re-use always the same summon anyway.

I'm really thrilled by the fact that arcanist have a book for weapon. What will happen to the weird rod we see the current arcanist with? Simply change as it nothing happened or will there be an actual explanation?

Does that mean it also open the door for more classes with weird weapons like mirror (Mime class), whip (beastmaster), hoop (dancer), ...? I hope so!
What about Ninja (kunai? nunchaku?) and Samurai (daikatana? katana?)?

They should just keep 1 carbuncle, then can switch from tank to nuke. that would had been better but it changes color when it changes to tank or nuke.

Not confirmed yet.. they are -thinking- about different colors.. also maybe different armors or designs or something like it.
