I for one wouldn't be opposed to them making a few new summons either. the staple characters are awesome and all but we know they still make some awesome ones when they are allowed to make new stuff.

Well what about for the major Primals; Ifrit, Garuda, Shiva, Titan, Rumah, Bahamut, Diablos, etc, are Limit Breaks for the Summoner.
Maybe make it so that before people got limits for a certain class they could do a long quest/boss fight to unlock their powerful ability?

well the 15 min ability can be the astral flow to do Hellfire, Diamond dust, etc. while the limit break can be Bhamaut a powerful non elemental dmg Mega Flare.
Well with the current set up of Job Quests to even summon the "Essence" of the Primals you would have to do the quests for the abilities and you would also unlock your AF Gear, whether they keep this the same I couldn't tell you.

tthe developer said that they are taking more the different colos in consideration, for the two types (mage/tank)
i'd be maybe more for a dress, like he is wearing in FFXIII
imagine this, being plate armor for example for the tank type. i mean without a helmet..
but maybe it would be too kitchy.
Would love to have that Carbuncle.tthe developer said that they are taking more the different colos in consideration, for the two types (mage/tank)

Would it be safe to assume that Arcanist is a CLASS and summoner the JOB to arcanist?
I wonder if smn spells change based on what smn the master is using currently.
