I hope it's not all recycled stuff as that seems a bit cheap.

They should develop more XIV specific beast tribes and give them deeper hierarchy and variety along with a whole lot more character.

XI tribes all had their own architecture styles and a lot of cutscene and story-based questing. The tribes also need distinct characters to make us care about the situation and cutscenes to showcase those moments.

I know I've mentioned cutscenes many times by now but in comparison to other FF titles I really think they should put more effort to presentation of the story.

Sure you can slap an epic amount of flavour text somewhere but unless it's not woven into the gameplay and goals of the player he will not care.

Back to enemies:

From the early days of FF I think they could do a redesign of Zu's. I especially thought they were interesting in massive scale in X. Also there seems to be a lack if variety in flying enemies.
