    Really Bad Performance With Ambient Occlusion And Depth Of Field ?

    Turned the 2 options above on and my game went down to 10fps, Turned them off and it jumped up to 60+, Everything else at max.
    There are a lot of other games with those 2 graphical options and non take performance down so much like FFXIV does.
    Will this ever be optimized ?

    If the specs in your sig is actually yours it's probably your settings.


    Keep General Draw & Draw Distance Quality to 8/5 & multisampling to CSAAx8 or less.

    I run it fine @ 1920x1200 with 680 SLI.

    MY average FPS with AO on is 30~40 in most areas.

    Dude.. 2.0 go read up on it, entire new engine, this current game engine is only up for another 2mo

    AO is broken on the current version client, so that will hurt you no matter how good your rig is.
