    Requests for PvP

    After learning about the new TP system, I'm depressed when thinking about PvP.

    Having to wait 3 seconds between Thunder and Thundara makes a BLM useless against more than one player (that has infinite TP). Having to wait 3 seconds between WSs makes it impossible for one person to kill two people at a time. Skill doesn't factor into PvP in any way aside from timing an AoE.

    I propose that TP only regenerates after scoring points, dying, or killing someone or that the TP system is changed in some way that allows players to have to make some sort of effort other than rush in and WS until you die. In PvP, this current system is basically infinite TP and makes mages useless with their 3 second delay between spells.

    I also hope that jumping is disabled in PvP. It won't affect gameplay, but it will be a constant annoyance to see people jumping non-stop while being chased by people that have unlimited TP.

    If you don't care about PvP, don't read this thread, I definitely don't read your cries about 2D grass.

    Jumping will most definitely impact PvP, especially if the current combo system remains. PLD's weapon skills must be started from the front of the enemy. Idk about you, but if I'm facing a PLD, I'll be jumping all around him to keep him from getting his combo off.

    It's already been confirmed that directional combos are being removed..

    I missed the part where mages spells where going to be on the same type of timer that DoW will get, can someone point me in the right direction?

    As I recall, it was stated that the direction will not matter after the first hit.

    Srsly all these ppl QQ'ing about jumping get over it.. The mechanics of FFXI & FFXIV are so limiting as is, its hardly comes down to skill and more about dealing with slow/dated engines. Animation lock? Blah. Instant skills that interfere with normal actions such as running.. blah. The entire game needs revamping for any sort of meaningful pvp...
    Sleep>> Stone (for Heavy effect) >> Spam Combo. Or auto attack until WS are slow & dated pvp mechanics.
    If you dunno wtf:
    Keyboard turning
    Clickers
    Peeling
    Swapping
    Focus
    for basic pvp terms means.. then you dunno wtf pvp is at all.

    What we need are CC for every class & a CC break ability, defensive and offensive CDs. WHM gets focused by a MNK? /gg son
    Btw FYI, many players who are good at PvP actually do rly well at PvE because they know their class.
