The future of FFXIV forums

Just a tiny bit of information for you all~

Regarding Advanced Level Forums:
We received some feedback requesting to have some sections of the FFXIV forums restricted to only allow players over a specific level. We just wanted to let you know that we do not have any plans to place any limitations such as this because we want new players to be able to ask questions, and provide feedback, which can be useful for new subscribers as well.

As for the forums after A Realm Reborn is released:
We will continue to operate the forums after launch; however, we are still working out the details on what we should do with all of the posts when we switch over. We'll keep you in the loop as soon as we have any updates.

I don't understand how one forum restricted to people who have one (or more) max level job(s) precludes being able to help new people.

I don't understand how one forum restricted to people who have one (or more) max level job(s) precludes being able to help new people.

Because most high levels will most likely only view & post in that forum and not in the ones newer players will view.
