    Hello madbadger00,

As this particular issue sounds like a Technical Support matter, I am transferring this thread to the Tech Support forums. I would also advise you consider filing a ticket at our Square Enix Support Center for additional assistance.

I hope that you are able to resolve this issue soon and I thank you for posting about it!

The GMs I talked to say it is impossible to move a character that is not logged in the game. We know its BS. Everything we have been told so far has been BS. Whatever they are doing/ not doing, is being kept to themselves. This is a real issue here. People losing characters to server error? pretty serious. They won't even acknowledge it on the "known issues", and I'm betting they never will.

This comes at a particularly bad time for SE.
FFXIV, launched and failed, but SE decided to give another go at it. And here we are, on the verge of the all-new and improved FFXIV, and this happens. If they don't sort this out quick, XIV will forever remain a failure.

Maybe they'll change their name to SE = server error.

Trollolol. You saw Foxi post in the bugs section. Saw a GM move her thread. you then replied to that thread. and now you're acting surprised they moved yours.

    Proof:

Because it is. The only way a GM can move you is to run a script. they have to be able to target you to run that script. if you're not logged in they can't target you. /thread

It's not a wide spread problem. the servers are working fine. data corruption =/= server not working. Not to mention, anyone you talk to is Tier 3 tech support. maybe Tier 2 if you're lucky. IE: they can't do any trouble shooting.

this has nothing to do with ARR. we're getting brand new server architecture. brand new engine. etc. etc. this problem will likely go away.
