I have been saying it, they haven't done anything because not enough people have been affected in balmung. The sargatanas server had one too many locked out so they -had- to do it.
By the way, it is FOR SURE NOT CLIENT SIDE, I decide to spend my time reinstalling the game even with a doubt of it being fixed. So if you guys are deciding to try to reinstall it is not worth it, we all know it's SE's side and they need to fix it as soon as possible.
YAY i just got d/c'ed with a ton of other people at the Garuda portal!!! Got back into the game but couldnt invite anyone to my party nor could they. I decided to relog but now i cant log back in... im stuck after the "SQUARE ENIX" black screen!! wtf...
Did you get an error code?
no error code stayed on the screen for like 5 minutes and i just shut it off... but goood news i just tried logging after a long hour and i signed in !!!
Looks like I am having this same issue. Can not stay in game for more than a minute or two and then I crash.
The first time I crashed I was attacking the Bomb Barron NM in Cassiopiea Hallows. Had the "Error (30002)". Tried logging back in and got a message that said the server was down due to maintenance, which I know was not true.
Second time I logged back in and was dead from the NM, returned to crystal and crashed and got the same error.
Third time, logged back in, returned back to Ul'dah. Crashed in the Market Wards and got the same "Error (30002)".
What's your full error code?Looks like I am having this same issue. Can not stay in game for more than a minute or two and then I crash.

Does it still occur?
