Chat Log Bug?

So, my main chatlog has been having this issue where it won't allow me to adjust the size and just keeps stretching with the text. Within a few minutes the log window covers the entire screen. My display isn't locked and I can adjust the size on my secondary log, there's just no option for the first one.
