Here's the solution to your problem.... get a decent LS and they will help you, I got through CoP with LS help, got sea and beat Promathia, there are always people that need this level capped content if you can't get help find people to static it with. Take CoP again, most people who cried they couldn't get help with it were the people spamming shouts, or spamming LS chat for help, when they could have easily done a few shouts in Whitegate and got a static going, or start from the beginning of the story and get people who haven't started or were stuck on prommys.

There was a lot of ways to get CoP done, people were just too lazy to do the legwork.

This is not XI you don't have to shout in town for hours looking for ppl, also will not need a ls for it. We will have cross server content finder so there will always be someone to do these contents with. You wont have to find help you will find people who need it as well.

I had most of the server and even some world first CoP kills. Because we had 6 people who would log on and be the first to beat the missions. But days of not doing anything else except playing a game because I didn't have anything else to do but college work are gone. Its easy to be in a linkshell but I have seen people always asking for CoP but generally speaking people won't want to help them because they already did it.

I really don't like how they are putting level caps on everything story progression wise and lower level dungeons.

The one guy said he didn't like it how people would do Ifrit and Ifrit was already dead before the cutscene. It was hard enough already to find 4 people to join.

This seems a lot like CoP which everyone seemed to hate the level cap zones and when a new player wanted help most people would not bother to help at all because they seemed to hate level caps. Eww I don't want to do that its capped. If I can't find people to do the story missions the solution was to out level it go back and do them.

My LS mate one-shot Ifrit with Freeze (?) when I was still in the cutscene the second time we fought him. The first time they helped me, Ifrit instantly summoned Hellfire for no apparant reason, so everyone (including me) died; that was after the cutscene. Everyone from my LS (in the party) were like loldafuq? Lol. It was so funny (when we all got KOed).

If everyone has the same amount of TP and cost management is your only limit, then pretty much everyone in the game can do the exact same rotation and come to the same DPS. It just doesn't sound very fun, for your only limitation to be cost management. Yes, you shouldn't spam your WS's, but then that means that you're going to be waiting around for TP regen, which doesn't make combat sound fast-paced at all; rather, it sounds like you can spam your strongest WS's until TP regen slows, sit there waiting for it to come back, and then spam again! And since they said that your 2+ WS's in combos will now cost TP, there will be even less reason to follow a real rotation and just spam over and over.

With the current combat system we have things in place to make it more difficult to play a class well (with exception to BLM, which is faceroll). Positional WS's, while annoying due to server lag, place stress on the player to be able to time their movements within a fight. Cooldowns, while sometimes annoying because of unfair distribution (ARC's year-long CD's, for example) mean that you can't just spam something over and over, and forces you to make use of all of your available WS's in order to deal out as much damage as possible. If all the WS's share the same timer, then there will be almost no reason not to use your strongest WS over and over.

We still don't know everything about the new combat system and I'm merely speculating, but I'm very worried about the game from what this interview has shown me. Combat looks faceroll easy and not much fun, there doesn't seem to be much room for strategy or a high level of player skill.
