Rafts/Canoes Can we have it

Raft/Canoe option to get to other locations. Swimming not required but canoeing to another spot or across a river would be cool. Raft/Canoe mount can be triggered by beach side or in the water. (edit or boardwalk near the river or ocean side like in Limbsa.

In the water will happen when swimming is added later on.

Fishing on Canoe would be cool as hell..

I think large and little boats would be awesome - smaller boats being allowed on lakes (with a dock). And the larger boats would need an ocean - (ocean) would be fun but obviously little point until there are other islands to go to (or continents..).

Also just like airships (if they are player controlled) the amount of these large vehicles needs to be carefully controlled (amount visible at least) as to prevent convoluted and annoying looking scenes. Their controls and collisions would also have to be carefully crafted to create a good and in place feel.

If anyone played two worlds two - the boat actually wasn't that bad minus the occasional wonky skyrim physics.

Would be absolutely PERFECT for fishing for extra huge fish. FF series has had its fair share of vehicles, and that includes rafts and canoes (even an ice sledboat thing). Great for FF nostalgia, and great for MMO.

Edit: Even better, they should make it like Zelda: Wind Waker, but instead a party can fill a party-sized Magitek steampunk-powered speedboat and go exploring for quests and loot on small islands that randomly generate varying content. There could be mini games and huge Krakens to fight. This would also allow us to reach diving points into coral filled caves.
