What I want to see is massive chaos, when the servers come back up after the final data save on November 1st. Make the next 10 days nothing, but a giant battle ground.

I want to see a real end of world event. Gridania engulfed in flames. Meteorites falling out of the sky and hitting players standing around in Ul'dah for 9999. Tidal swells swallowing up the lower portions of Limsa Lominsa. NPCs running around frantic.

This exactly. There is a time and place for brevity but the end of the world as we know it is not it. I want fire and brimestone! To hear the echoing chorus of the innocent scream in terror all around, violent explosions drowning them out with meteors raining. I want the last week to be Eozea's darkest of hours before the light of 2.0 can save it. To see how we've failed in our duty to stop the red moons descent and witness the hell it wrought upon the land.
