i dont get it, they ask a lot of questions, legit questions, mind you. they also contribute a lot of ideas, legit ideas too, mind you.

Yet everyone is calling her a troll, i don't think you all quite get what a troll is.

So what if she's a level 1 miner and nothing else, you don't think that it could be one of her alts?
I went through her profile and looked through the majority of her posts and i don't see anything wrong with what they're posting.

it gets to the point where she posts a topic on wanting a way to avoid meld theft and you all just start charging with your pitchforks, sheesh guys calm down. that's a perfectly fine topic in my book.

She gives actual legit ideas and feedback for the game, which is a lot more productive than any of what you haters are doing, lol.

So stop belittling her and let her voice her thoughts, that's what this forum is for :O

it's irrelevant due to the fact that if someone says they broke your meld and then goes and sells it how are you supposed to know that. second of all if you're paying someone to meld a lower level item and it's easier to meld than higher level ones it's easier to purchase. second of all if they're so afraid of that happening it's called leveling the doh class yourself to be able to meld what is needed to be melded or 2 not pay the person what they are supposed to be paid for said melding and there is a meld option in the system to request melds meaning they can't take said items from you or have one someone you trust do it instead of some random stranger. Thus it's irrelevancy and them lacking common/practical sense.

as for melding, why should one level a craft to 50 just to double meld their own gear? not everyone has the gil or time to sink into that.
also, the menu for melding only works for the first meld, not 2nd or 3rd etc, it sounds like you really have no idea what you're talking about when you say that - so maybe you're the irrelevant one without common sense, just throwin it out there.

then why bother melding anything to your gear in the first place if you don't want to level that said class since you have doubts about the person doing the melding for you. Second they never mentioned double or triple melding in that regards they just mentioned melding in general. Thirdly Gil is actually pretty easy still to come by at this point in time and most people triple and double meld a lot of the lower end materia due to it's higher meld rate. But that doesn't concern you now does it since you won't level it yourself. Why should I bother people I don't trust to meld my gear when I can level quickly and easily on leves right now and then do it myself. Oh btw that thread is now locked. And just to let you know I've melded gear myself before tyvm.

the thread isnt there for you to tell the op how stupid they are for trusting randoms, its a feedback. one the dev team could fix by adding the option to put gear up for 2nd-3rd melds the same as first.

There is no counter measure for trades if you give someone your stuff you better trust them simple as that. A trade is always an 2 way agreement.

ok let me rephrase said question so you can understand it

Meld Theft

some melders meld and fail less expensive items and tell you that they have failed and then sell your item in the AH we need to Countermeasure this problem


where in this quote does it say they're doing double and triple melds and even saying that it is really happening it says they failed the meld and sold the item hmmm nothing about double or triple melding and guess what items break when they don't meld properly and materia is the one that stays... how about that. Nothing saying it's the materia being sold just items also items aren't even meldable now that you think about it. I can continue to pick that sentence apart if you'd like me too... also there is no Ah and so far there hasn't been any one complaining about this being a "problem" I'm sure there would be a huge rant on here besides this not even one completely coherent sentence about it.
