I'm probably in the minority on this, but I'm a little disheartened at the flood of posts asking (rather indignantly) why the movement animations were "downgraded" (start/stop, etc). I personally much prefer the way it's looking in 2.0, because while the old animations certainly looked much more fluid from a pure cosmetic perspective, having that extra delay while starting or stopping any movement in combat drives me up the wall in 1.0. It makes any sort of movement in combat feel like you're standing in molasses.

Really. this is stupid and people are stupid in general. The game play they showed behind closed Doors at E3 you couldn't
interact with mobs. Fast forward a month and people are surprized that all the animations are not in the game yet. Even
though it has been constantley said that these videos are not finished producted.


PS. I'm not saying that the Quote poster is stupid. Refering to the people making a stink about
unfinish animations.

I like the questions i proposed about fishing and personal housing and Materia and hated the one about grass and animations problems.
I do feel some questions need to be explained like the materia questions.

am gonna ask these now or when i get free but thought about sharing them:

Q1:In ARR will fisher role as a DoL be more helpful like miner and botanist? in terms of legendary fishes,more Materials that can be obtained from fishing and used in Relic or more gear quests (example: coral armor, coral weapons)

Q2:What are your plans about a Far-Eastern Expansion or areas like Norg in FFXI?


Q3:Is there any plan on making the Relic Progression quest a bit harder when ever you get a relic (Example: get 1/7 > it becomes more hard for the second relic and gets harder and harder for obtaining 7/7) [silly me :P]

This question again. I'm in probably the largest LGBT linkshells out of all the servers and this has been brought up
like all of 2 times ever that I have seen. General consenus is that there isn't marriage in the game, So why even
bring this up. Marriage in XI was such a pain in the ass that it wasn't even worth the time to do anyway.
As much as I look down on the Poster for bringing up an issue that is moot to begin with. The repling person should be
shoot out of a cannon just for being a general asshat.

Currently some DoH/DoL classes are superior in utility than others, such as Miner and Armorer/Weaver. Are there plan to balance out DoH/DoL classes to even out the utility of these classes?

what does this person mean ? miner /botanist get high level stuff and their abilities are similiar minus the sweat of brow which u can equip on miner when obtained on botanist, all crafts have same advantages of others as long as you level them. The only thing that needs to become more superior for doh/dol is fisher. I have no use for fisher atm.

We are preparing a cathedral so that you can get married in Eorzea as well, so please look forward to actually having wedding content in the game :P

No offense but when writing a paragraph on how something is a waste of time, at least bring yourself upto date on the topic

Back to this thread in itself, I read every question when it finished on page 11 or 12 liking the ones I personally would like to know...
Now if anyone remembers the "Cheese Sandwich" fiasco from FFXI and Vanafest's questions, I'm saying now ours will be the damn effing grass question, and if it is I hope the person who asked it gets sat on by Fat Chocobo!

he meant in terms of gil making can a fisher make gil more than btn and miner alone without the help of DoH "No"
same as BSM he can make almost all of the class specific weapons minus 2 so he has an advantage
