    I do think that the FF series as a whole has a bigger attachment and tradition with the sky than the sea (I mean, if we look back at the entire franchise I think the only one that gave sufficient focus to underwater to call it actual content was FFIV? FFVII had the submarine minigame but it was more a minigame than actual long spanning content).

    And sincere, I do personally prefer to explore the skies than the the seabed. In whatever expansion we get in 2015, perhaps!

    The only thing I want out of FFXIV right now, topographically speaking, is the ability to run over all the rocks and plants. Seriously, can we get past that? It's a big guessing game to see what will stop me or allow me to run over in the regions surrounding Ul'dah, at one point I was having a free-for-all straight across the landscape going over every rock, bump, and small hill when suddenly.. bam. Crashing halt. Why?

    A plant. A tiny one at that, and I'm on a bloody chocobo!

    Come on.

    Forget sea and forget sky.. get the land right first.

    I'm excited for whatever he gives us, but I'll admit to hoping he'd give us Sea first, mostly because I really really want my own sailboat to fish the day away on.
