Thread: Planning to build underwater gameplay in 2.0

Just saw some images of bodys of water in Grindeeaa XD. Anyway was thinking is SE planning to start building underwater zones or some cool things in the water while there building 2.0. Then of course build some undertwater swiming and activate all these zones to real locations.

Plus water animation in the gameplay vid seems worse then its in the currect verision. All water running at the same animation. Hopefully they fix it.

Still want to be able to swim tho.

And no MMO has done Underwater content right. FFXI's underwater content was actually very much how you'd expect it to be in a FF game, some kind of underwater ruins. What ruins underwater content in MMOs tends to be the shitty swim mechanic.

What is 'right' in underwater content, in a fantasy game. I've no probelm with how Everquest or everquest II or age of conan or even WoW did their underwater content. They had it, it was cool to do.

"Right" means the content actually doesn't feel like a sluggish mess.

I'd be interested in it for the distant future, but there are more important things to address first, IMO.
