As it's been said many times, these are all paying accounts that are helping fund the rebirth of XIV ARR whether you like it or not.

No one should ENJOY RMT but they will be in any game that has people stupid enough to buy in-game currency. To me, though it does seem as if it would be less than simple to deal with the problem. SE could decipher an RMT name from a normal name easily enough, but purging all of the accounts would just result in them losing some good revenue.

To the naysayers: Would you honestly trade damage to the game economy and community for a small number of short term subscriptions? The amount of revenue they are bringing in is likely not nearly as much to make this acceptable.

How many more subscriptions does it take for them to start advertising in shout channel with your blessing? Or using stuff like mooglebox, fantaji to do so?
