Voted no. Inevitably there will be people who don't realize their progress isn't being saved, and they'll throw a big fuss. Their story will be picked up by gaming news sites, and then suddenly everyone will think Square-Enix is deleting characters. Sure the truth will come out eventually, but how many people come back for the retraction?

It's a mess waiting to happen and that's the last thing this game needs right now.

Imagine poor Joe Smoe who never did get a primal weapon after years of trying. Then on Nov the 12th he finally gets the Moogle Fork he's been drooling after.
