I'm totally agree with you Nemy. One of the most beautifull things in this game was the animations of walk and move in general, and I hope they maintain this animations on FF:ARR.
I'll take the movements out of battle, but in battle keep that slow shit away from me.

It doesn't specifically say any part, just that he is not happy with how current state looks, so they haven't had an official video yet, but they do like that there are homemade videos to start word of mouth. So wait till official video or Alpha beta before you settle on they have removed it. You do have a good concern but I think it is just a bit to early in testing to worry about it.Speaking of showing videos, some of you have been wondering why we haven’t officially released the footage of the demo we ran at gamescom. The answer to that is simple: it still looks like an ordinary MMO. Sure, our current players have been bowled over by the differences between the original version and A Realm Reborn. However, for those discerning MMO fans who haven’t played the original version, A Realm Reborn in its current state merely looks like your everyday MMO...just with better graphics. Yes, we expected fans to upload their own videos of the gamescom demo, but I think that at this point in the dev cycle, this is a more exciting way for people to be a part of the whole process.

You need to calm down. =.=
Excellent point OP. This is a good issue to bring up as many of us are concerned about the animations and the general dumbing down of 1.0. My advice is for them to figure out some way to bring those animations back and still have accurate character controls for 2.0.
Although I don't think you're aware of the trade-offs they made. There is no longer any running left, right, or back. There is only running forward with camera panning. Look at World of Warcraft videos and you'll see the same thing. Animation has taken a backseat to controls. I think this could be especially awkward to the gamepad crowd. For mouse/keyboard I don't really see a way around the dumbing down of animation. And on that note it might be weird if some characters looked better animated than others if they were using a gamepad to control them.
There should be some good discussion on this point.
yep i do :P
but seeing very much the same over and over BS made me angry thats all. basically my point is the game hasnt yet even reached alpha or beta and in the video its pre alpha clearly and people just making posts to get attention about these "Little Things" they saw in a pre-alpha or maybe alpha too of the game
