Considering BLM have a lot of MP, I have no doubt SMN will have more than BLM. Perpetuation cost might be meaningless if the cost is not high enough to match their large mp pool.

If the dev team does end up making it like FFXII, I hope they make a compatibility system similar like GF in FFVIII which allow faster casting, boost your stats, and should allow the pet to stay outside longer the more you fight with it.

No point of having prep cost just makes the class bad like it was in XI. Only thing they need to do is balance the dmg pet and master do and let it stay out as long as the smn wants.

I would prefer a permanent summon over a temporary one.
