Ineffective Debuffs?

Aren't generally all spells ineffective? I have 150 Int with 105 Mind and Pie, I hit for 0 all the time.

Sure the spells seem to be a bit ineffective (just a bit...), but hitting 0 for all the time? Are you serious? I mean, that's not normal at all. Even with lower stats you should do damage or land your debuffs. Give concrete/real data if you need help...

I dropped my Ice affinity to 32 to match my +potency food and noticed Para not sticking as often.

Does Intelligence also affect how effective debuffs are on the enemy, or just Piety? Mainly concerned about Dia, Bio, Slow, and Absorbs.

No it doesn't (at least it shouldn't...). From the Lodestone:

Intelligence (INT) Increases damage dealt by magic attacks


I guess you could see more DoT damage output with Dia and Bio, but that's all (one more time, that should be all).

What would be the best wepeon to have reduce resists. I'm using Ornate Silver Scepter +1 now. Don't know if the brands would be better. Any ideas would be nice.
