Looking for Mature Linkshell

Hi all,

I am looking for a new linkshell. I have been in two so far and because of my casual play nature I have felt left out and pushed aside by some. I have also experienced discomfort from what I have felt was rude behavior and fairly constant bad language as well.

I don't even know if there is a linkshell out there that really fits me right now, but it seems everyone has already declared their alleigances by now so starting one of my own is not really an option.

About me:
-I am 33 years old, good natured, positive in my game discussion and behavior, and generally expect others in the linkshell to be friendly and courteous towards me
- I generally play during the week during regular working hours. I actually play while at work. As you might expect that forces me to go afk for long periods of time when I have actual work to do I also play tuesday and thursday nights for a couple of hours and saturday and sundays as well. My time zone is -4 GMT.
-I really do not like bad language or vulgar topics of discussion. A little here and there isn't going to make me that uncomfortable, but if it's a regular occurance, I probably won't enjoy myself too much.
-I enjoy role play if that is an option with any of you.

The leaders don't just let anyone in, they like to party with them first to see if they "fit" our LS. We have a strong crafting base in the linkshell and like to share knowledge, materials and even finished products with LS members, I've been a member since before launch and can say that i've not seen any drama when i'm online. PM one of the leaders in game.

Thanks Thug, I've been playing on Besaid lately, but I will check you guys out when I happen back to Cornelia. You guys were actually my first choice of advertised linkshells, I just wasn't sure if the time zones would mesh, as I believe it was said most people are onj at 7pm GMT, which is just an hour or two before I log off most days.

Either way thanks for the suggestion, I will look you guys up when I'm back on Cornelia. Cheers!

No problem, We have several US/CAN players in the shell, and most of our players are on from 4-5 pm GMT, we usually start leve runs around 6pm GMT, we also camp NM's on the weekends for some fun, depending on who's online, we generally start that around 4pm GMT I think.

Gicker I recommend you check out Paradox, we are a progressive LS, the average age in the LS is well into the 20's. In a MMO in today's age idk how much more mature then that you can get. we run on EST, I will contact you tonight if you like to discuss things with you when I am home from work, sadly today i forgot to leave my PC on so I cannot remote in and BS in game until about 3pm EST or so.

Hey Gicker!

I actually run a Role-playing/Progression Linkshell on Besaid as well as play my main character on Cornelia. I come from a very mature group of individuals in FF XI, and those are the people I play with currently on Cornelia (We're mostly college grads or soon to be college grads.). I don't know if we are actively recruiting, but I can ask one of my members if you are interested. As for Besaid... we seek to form a group that has family like bonds of cooperation OOC, and work to create a storyline based around an adventuring company IC. Both groups are very mature or I wouldn't be a part of them, as maturity is what I consider the second most important quality of a linkshell next to goodwill among members.
