From time to time, FFXIV will constantly have the following error after anywhere from 1 to 5 minutes of gameplay:

In order to get back into the game, the whole client has to be shut off. The same continues to persist when logging back on.

Tried multiple times over multiple days. I've tried a combination of many things, including going from wireless to wired, using a Static IP, altering the MTU levels up and down (between 1480 and 1500), power-cycling my modem and router, etc. FFXIV is the ONLY online game/client/etc that is having problems over my connection. Otherwise, all else is very stable, connection tests averaging 10ms ping, 25 down, 2 up.

check your port forwarding yet? what ISP do you have?

Port forwarding setup correctly. ISP is RCN (cable). I haven't had issues until mainly throughout now and the rest of the month of August. Perhaps a patch is to blame?

Some of my friends got the same issue yestoday. We alomost went crazy while both of our rankers keep droping from the battle and couldn't log back. Gladly, they got enough seals yestoday. There may the issue of the patch, because it never happened before.

Try VPNing/proxy 30002 is a ping/networking issue. essentially you're having problems talking to the server.

how old is your router? can you think of anything on your end that might have changed? also try switching to IPv6/IPv4 if possible.

Lol i have RCN cable as welland for the last hour or so I been DCing every few mins i reset everything, had no issues before router isnt the issue. Issue might be on RCNs end..If I remmeber right happened on FF11 a few times a few ISPs woudl dc you a lot after some patches.
